Rakomelo is an exceptional drink that harmoniously combines tsipouro and honey.
First produced in the 12th century, this Greek mixed alcoholic drink is traditionally used by many Greeks as a home remedy for sore throat or cough.
The exceptional quality of this Rakomelo comes from the base, which consists of the award-winning Tsipouro of the Katsaros family and carefully selected honey, which is a mixture of flower honey with a dose of chestnut.
The process mixing Tsipouro and honey is done in an absolutely controlled temperature, where it is finally enriched with aromas of cinnamon and cloves.
