KALAMATA OLIVES

Kalamata olives are known as Kalamon, protected name and origin, it’s considered the king of olives, not only in Greece, but all over the world. The use of kalamata olives is multi-purpose, it is used in salads, making bread, spreads and sauces. Due to its unique taste, it is in great demand. Kalamon olive is almond-shaped and has an intense burgundy-purple color. They have a fruity taste, mild bitterness, fleshy texture and are easily separated from the stone. It absorbs the marinade very well, either from natural brine and red wine vinegar, or from olive oil and herbs.
